Inter Milan’s season is far from over, but they already making plans for next summer. According to Italian publication, Gazzetta dello Sport, Nerazzurri have been approaching Barcelona’s midfielder, Ivan Rakitic.
The media even claimed that La Beneamata already given the green light to sign Rakitic next summer by Barca.
Moreover, reports also adding that it will take at least 40 million Euro for Nerazzurri to snatch the midfielder from Camp Nou.
However, there’s still no insurance that anything will happen as the player must agree on terms before anything else.
Considering the transfer fee requested, Inter reportedly must first understand whether Rakitic’s personal demand is still within their reach.
Inter themselves are still having some issues with FFP, so must remain wise with their spending next summer.
Rakitic himself has been an important player for Blaugrana even until this current season. However, recent signing of Frenkie de Jong means there will be less space for the Croatian next season.
Not only that, considering his age, the former Sevilla player isn’t someone who the Catan club will be prioritizing.
Still, it remain to be seen on whether Nerazzurri can find a way to snatch Rakitic or whether they change their mind.
For now, the rumors are nothing more than a speculation that will continue to spark until next summer arrives.
