England entertain, Japan and Senegal serve up a sizzler and Colombia conquer Poland.
But on another brilliant day of World Cup action, it was Harry Kane who truly stole the headlines.
The Three Lions forward netted a hat-trick as they battered Panama, but surely the biggest thing for the Tottenham man was reclaiming his place in the Onefootball Team of the Tournament.
GK: Guillermo Ochoa – Made nine saves against Germany and was solid against South Korea. The man just loves the World Cup!
CB: Andreas Granqvist – Stopped everything and scored the winner against South Korea. Was monstrously good again versus Germany and kept Sweden in it for as long as he could.

CB: Diego Godín – Absolutely monstrous from first minute to last against Egypt and flawless once again in the game against Saudi Arabia.
CB: Manuel Akanji – Takes Moreno’s place after two super assured showings. Won all seven of his duels against Brazil and was imperious against Serbia.
RM: Hirving Lozano – A sublime winner against Germany, a composed assist against South Korea. Brilliant defensive work too and he’s one of the breakout stars of the tournament.

CM: Luka Modrić – What. A. Goal. The Croatia midfielder was sumptuous against Argentina and completely ran the game against the South Americans.
CM: Hector Herrera – His two performances so far have had absolutely everything. The engine in Mexico’s midfield.
LM: Denis Cheryshev – After scoring twice as a substitute in the opening game, Cheryshev was at it again versus Egypt. Only Ronaldo and Lukaku have scored more.
ST: Harry Kane – Five goals in two games for the England striker – he’s very much brought his Premier League form into this World Cup and entered the history books in the process.

ST: Cristiano Ronaldo -Two games, four goals. A true big game player who seems to be carrying his country almost singlehandedly.
ST: Romelu Lukaku – Also on to four goals from two games. Perfect movement, clinical finishing. The best number nine at the tournament on this form.
